Given the formula [tex]E = IR[/tex], what is the formula for [tex]R[/tex]?

Asked by sfmjim4

Answer (3)

]E = IR
If we move I to LHS, we get R in RHS.
Thus,
E/I = R
Thus, R = I E

if E = IR THEN R=E/I HOPE IT HELPS!

The formula for resistance (R) can be derived from Ohm's Law, which states that voltage (E) is equal to the current (I) times the resistance (R). By rearranging the formula, we find that resistance is equal to the voltage divided by the current. Thus, the formula for resistance is R = I E .
