I'd call this a trick question ... at least one that's trying hard to distract you.
It makes no difference what shape Gina decided to construct with her cardboard. Whether it was a cube, a sphere, a pyramid, or a crumpled up ball of cardboard. As long as she used "... the entire sheet of cardboard ...", the surface area stays the same as it was when it was just a flat sheet.
(9-feet x 6-feet) =*** 54 square feet***
The surface area of the cube made from a cardboard sheet measuring 9 feet by 6 feet is 54 square feet. This is derived from the total area of the cardboard being equal to the surface area of the cube. Each side of the cube measures 3 feet, leading to this surface area calculation.
