let the no of forks be x and no of spoon be y 1.7x + 1.3y = 37.9 5.6x + 5.4y = 147.2 solving for x and y, we get multiplying eqn 1 by 5.6 and equation 2 by 1.7 we get 9.52x + 7.28y = 212.24 9.52x + 9.18y = 250.24 subsrtracting eqns we get 7.28y - 9.18y = 212.24 - 250.24 1.9y = 38 y = 20 x = (37.9 -1.3*20)/1.7 = 7

Molly's Custom Kitchen Supplies made 7 forks and 20 spoons based on the material costs and sales revenue. By setting up a system of equations and solving for the number of each item produced, we find these quantities. This allows us to understand the cost-effectiveness of their products.
