let the no. of green marbles be x no of blue marbles = 2x no of red marbles = 3 2x = 6x total marbles = 765 so, x+2x+6x = 765 or, x = 765/9 = 85 no of red marbles = 6 85 = 510

There are 510 red marbles in the box, calculated from the total of 765 marbles with a ratio of blue to green marbles and red to blue marbles. By setting up the equations based on these ratios, we find the counts for each color of marble. Specifically, the green marbles total 85, the blue marbles total 170, and the red marbles total 510.
