What is the answer to \(6 - 1 \times 0 + 2 \div 2\)?

A. Is it 1?
B. Is it 7?
C. Or is it something else altogether?

Asked by kamil

Answer (3)

6 - 1 × 0 + 2 ÷ 2
Following the order of simplification, we first have to divide, then multiply, then add and then subtract.
= 6 - 1 × 0 + 1
= 6 - 0 + 1
= 6 + 1
= 7
So, the answer is 7

Hi Kamil,
6 -1x0 + 2/2 = 6 - 0 + 1 = 6 + 1 = 7
The result is 7 :)

The answer to the expression 6 − 1 × 0 + 2 ÷ 2 is 7 after applying the order of operations correctly: multiplication and division first, then addition and subtraction.
