first, you have to think about what number you can multiply with 6 to get 43.you can multiply 6 with 7 to get 42,so you subtract 43 by 42, and you get a remainder of 1, if your trying to solve it as a mixed number, which would be 7 1/6.the answer as a decimal though would be 7.16666666667.

To divide 43 by 6, you can see that 6 fits into 43 a total of 7 times with a remainder of 1. This can be expressed as a mixed number, 7 6 1 , or as a decimal, 7.1667 .
