Lauren's shoe organizer can hold 5 pairs of shoes per row. How many rows will Lauren need if she has 24 pairs of shoes?

Answer (3)

If Lauran has 24pairs of shoes, and 5 pairs can fit on each row of the shoe holder, then 5 on one row + 5 again + 5 + 5 = 20 , then you have 4 left over, so you'll need one more row to fit the left over 4 on. So 4 rows of 5 pairs, then another row with 4 pairs.

Lauren needs a total of 5 rows to store her 24 pairs of shoes since each row holds 5 pairs. She fills 4 rows completely with 20 pairs and needs an additional row for the remaining 4 pairs. Therefore, the total number of rows required is 5.
