To find the answer we have to create system of equation and substitute b from second eq to the first. { a + 2391 = b a + b = 11875 ​ a + a + 2391 = 11875 Now we have to solve eq 2a+2391=11875 /-2391 both sides 2a=9484 /:2 a=4742 Now we can back substitute to second eq and find value of b b=4742+2391 b=7133 Its the result { b = 7133 a = 4742 ​
