Answer (2)

Unknown factors = is also known as a factor that is not understood and not known.
Example of unknown factor
=> 3x + 1 + 2
=> 3 + 3x
=> this is called unknown because we don’t have any idea what’s the value of x
Quotient => An answer of 2 different numbers called dividend and divisor being divided with each other.
Example of quotient
=> 100 / 10 = 10
=> 100 = dividend
=> 10 = divisor
= 10 = quotient

An unknown factor in mathematics is a variable whose value is not known, while a quotient is the result of dividing one number by another. Examples of an unknown factor include variables like x in an expression, and quotients can be illustrated by simple division like 100 divided by 10, which equals 10. Both concepts are fundamental in algebra and mathematical operations.
